The Healthy Voices project gives you a chance to express your opinions
Want to express your opinion on health care to the presidential candidates?
It’s easy if you participate in Health Commentary’s “Healthy Voices” project: Using your computer’s webcam, simply upload your video thoughts to us and we’ll forward them to the candidates.
We’re collecting videos from all over the country as a part of this project and will formally present all of them to the presidential candidates this fall.
If you want to participate, follow these easy steps:
1. Visit our Healthy Voices page to learn more about the project and see sample videos.
2. Follow the easy instructions for uploading a video to Health Commentary
3. Record a video, answering any, or all, of the following questions:
- What does it mean to be “healthy”?
- Has your experience with our health care system been good or bad? What have you learned from those experiences?
- Do you believe health insurance should be universal in our country – that every citizen should get free or affordable health care?
- What is the appropriate role for our government in health care? Should we have a national system like Medicare for everyone? Should government do less or more to assure the safety of hospitals, medicines and food?
- If there were one thing you would like to tell our future President when it comes to health care, what would it be?
You can also use your Apple laptop to record videos — if it has a built-in video camera. To use your laptop for taping, visit our laptop instructions.
After you have recorded and uploaded your video visit Health Commentary after Nov. 11 to see videos from the project — including yours.
