With the New Year, it is helpful to step back and take a hard look at where we are and where we need to go. In this light, I was doing some background research this week at the crossroads of compassion, understanding and partnership for a project I’m working on, and came across this summary of valued attributes in health care professionals in a search of “professionalism” on the University of Connecticut Health Center site. I thought I’d share it and invite your feedback. It is drawn from:
