Seventh Generation, creator of non-toxic household products, is now demanding Congress to support the Toxic Chemical Reform Act that would create a stronger law regarding chemicals used in products. According to the Seventh Generation website “the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has required safety on only 200 of the more than 80,000 chemicals on the market”. As a fan of Seventh Generation products (we regularly use their dish detergent and laundry detergent) and being an eco-friendly mom this is definitely a cause I can support.
