on death

I was present when my mother died of undiagnosed colon cancer and hospice was a godsend as she died at home.  Six months later my husband died - I don't think I'm afraid of it anymore - there was such peace and calmness.  How brave are these folks to share in what we were all born to do and most, if not all, of us are afraid of.
