Healthcare Leadership Council “Social Network” Resources

The Healthcare Leadership Council (HLC), a coalition of chief executives of the nation’s leading healthcare companies and organizations representing all health sectors, provide a number of social media platforms to which media outlets can subscribe.  These social media tools offer a view of health industry perspectives on key policy issues and announcements of new healthcare delivery, technology and safety innovations.

HLC is engaged on a number of current health policy issues from implementation of the Affordable Care Act to advocating the repeal of the Independent Payment Advisory Board (IPAB).

HLC’s full membership can be found at http://www.hlc.org/about/hlc-members.

The social media tools open and available to media outlets include:

•     Prognosis, the healthcare blog authored by HLC President Mary R. Grealy.  Through Prognosis, HLC offers insights and perspectives on contemporary health policy issues from Ms. Grealy and HLC member company CEOs.

•     A Twitter feed that spotlights news and information from HLC member companies and organizations as well as important health policy developments.

•     Our Facebook and LinkedIn pages, on which we frequently feature speeches and op-eds by health executives, as well as success stories in American healthcare.
